Yi Zhou, Ph.D.
Director, Genomics Core (Boston)
Yi joined the lab as a post-doctoral fellow in 1996 after completing his Ph.D. in Cell Biology at the University of Miami School of Medicine and receiving an M.S. in Biochemistry from the Graduate School of the Chinese University of Sciences & Technology. He now directs the Genomics Core at Boston Children’s Hospital’s Stem Cell Program. His research focuses on applying genomic research tools to study genetic and epigenetic regulation of vertebrate hematopoiesis and tumorigenesis. When he is not in the lab, Yi spends his time playing badminton, traveling, skiing, and cycling!
